Personality/Background: Best friend and non-biological sister of Heavystring. Both her and Heavy were growing up in an orphanage, though Undertone spent much more time there. Because of her a bit unusual looks for an earth pony no filly would want to become friends with her until Heavystring appeared in the orphanage. The pegasus was the only one to approach the lonely half-zebra and it took quite a while for the two to become such great friends.
Her attitude most of the time is very unpleasant and she treats most ponies like they don’t exist. She can get quite hot-headed and snappish if somepony irritates her or annoys her. But despite her hard, cold shell there is a very caring and emotional girl. Undertone would do absolutely anything for those she trusts and cares about thought it is horribly hard to get that close to the mint mare.

The female’s voice boomed around the are, accompanied by all the amazingly heavy music. The crowd was going crazy, screaming and cheering along with her, very much enjoying the performance. Heavystring’s hooves glided along the strings of her bass guitar making it sing alongside with her. It was her time, it was her performance. Sure, there were still the other members of the band but at the moment she was lost in her own world filled with the one thing she loved the most.
